On October 2, 2014, in an effort to promote our Wellness Programs GPI partnered with the local Walgreen’s Pharmacy to provide flu shots for our employees. Over one-third of the employees took advantage of this program. Also, Walgreen’s provided each participant rewards balance points to take advantage of future Walgreen’s purchases.

During the month of November 2013 Genesee Packaging participated in the charity event sponsored by GM CCA to support and bring awareness to Domestic Violence, the theme was “Helping Hearts to Heal“. GPI employees donated new clothing, personal care items, household items and money to the SafeHouse under the YWCA of Greater Flint.
