Responsible for designing new products, maintain customer requirements for packaging material and working with the sales department to fulfill customer needs. This position may require customer contact.


  • BS in Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to run AUTOCAD Artios design system
  • Ability to read blue print and specifications
  • Knowledge of ASTM standards and proper testing procedures
  • Knowledge of Government Packaging and designing to meet military standards.
  • Knowledge of UN testing standards for the design of hazardous material packaging a plus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing drawings and samples as needed
  • Creating packaging designs that effectively protect products and meet customer requirements
  • Create and update production specification, plant layouts and company signage as specified by the users
  • Will be responsible to maintain revision level history of all designs and drawings of the company
  • Interfaces with engineers and purchasing staff from internal divisions
  • Processing Government RFQ’s for designing the required packaging in accordance with military standards

Delivering finished materials to various customers while operating a tractor-trailer and/or straight truck. May use a fork truck to load/unload trailers. Loading, unloading, and delivering materials which may require climbing, bending, turning and twisting. Completes safety/maintenance checklists. Communicates with co-workers.


  • A valid Michigan State CDL A or B Drivers License and be insurable
  • Semi-tractor trailer and/or straight truck experience (over the road and/or local)
  • Complete a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Ability to work Full-time (a minimal of 40 hours)
  • Ability to work any shift and drive all company tractors, vans and fork trucks
  • Ability to read and write clearly and accurately
  • Ability to meet safety standards
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time while making deliveries and/ or driving the truck
  • Ability to lift pallets, weighing up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Complete a vehicle inspection before the start of the shift
  • Completing a daily transportation log
  • Maintain a clean tractor or van at all times, inside and outside
  • Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
  • Being knowledgeable about basic computer functions

Responsible for assisting management in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating personnel, equipment and material. This is to be done in the most proficient manner possible. Responsible for meeting all customer requirements for quality, quantity, “Just in Time” delivery and to ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed. Responsible for the supervision of hourly employees within their department. This position reports to the Corrugated – Plant Manager.


  • 2 – 3  years of experience

  • Being knowledgeable about basic computer functions
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/ machine operations
  • High School education, Some college experience
  • Ability to work Full-time (a minimal of 40 hours)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages the production process under his/her control to ensure that corporate established productivity levels are attained and/or recommends methods of improving the processes.                   Trains and assists subordinates in their job duties and responsibilities.  Delegates tasks and duties to subordinates as authorized to assist upper management in carrying out their responsibilities and duties.
  • Oversees the maintenance of all machinery and equipment assigned to the department through effective communications with supervision, operators and maintenance personnel. Oversees requests to the maintenance department for prompt repairs to ensure productivity and timely completion of customer orders. Oversees the all materials in the work area to help prevent abuse, theft or vandalism.
  • Administers counseling and corrective disciplinary action to those subordinates who violate Company Safety Rules, work rules and regulations, or written policies and procedures.
  • Documents all formal and informal communication with subordinate personnel.
  • Maintains an excellent attendance record.
  • Maintains excellent communication with other departments within the company where applicable.
  • Maintains accurate absenteeism records for all subordinates assigned under his/her supervision.
  • Oversees and maintains good housekeeping practices.
